Large female Forest Cricket with a long ovipositor. Nocturnal. They are sometimes called Bush Crickets or Wetas. Family Tettigoniidae.

Heavy shrubbery along the highway between San Cristobal de Las Casas and Tuxtla Gutierrez, km 11.5, 865 meters
