Thanks:-) I'm fascinated as well, but ok to keep a distance... This one is both darker and larger than the other ones around in the garden. I guess it's been good hiding for birds:-)

Great spotting! Love these guys, saw a pair (well, it scared me and I scared it!) at work earlier this week. Never seen one this dark or that shape. Fascinating!
