You're thinking of the wrong type of nurse shark! These are grey nurse sharks (Carcharias taurus) but beautiful shot all the same ^_^ the teeth on these guys are just wicked

So basically it's a creature that curls or swims with a hinged mouth.

Just found it on wiki: The nurse shark family name, Ginglymostomatidae, derives from the Greek: from γίγγλυμος meaning hinge and στῶμα meaning mouth. Cirratum also derives from Greek, meaning curl or swim.
