Atelopus senex. Extinct

Atelopus senex extinct.

Description:

It is classified in the Bufonidae family, this species of poisonous frog is considered extinct. I took this picture back in 1988 in Monteverde (a print) , I reproduced it in slide, I did a projection, and get this digital, that is why the quality is not so good. The frog was about 5.5 cm.

Habitat:

Cloud forest, river edges

Notes:

Extinct.
