Phidippus audax
dark brown abdomen, legs striped black and brown, some white markings on abdomen, about half an inch
rose garden
I spotted this small jumping spider on the rose bushes at work.
Turns out I've spotted this before at my house. Gina provided some good information.

Thanks Ronald and Amissa for the ID, I think you're right.
Ann it does have iridescent green mouth parts.
Thanks Laura, I think I know which spider you are talking about.

Yours seems to be a little bit different but the spots on the abdomen seem nearly identical. The legs are very similar as well.
Eeee so cute! I love jumping spiders! We don't seem to have any the UK, but when I lived in Ontario I remember seeing a lot, especially ones that were whiteish yellow and black striped (I dubbed them zebra spiders haha). I wish I could get some cute pictures like these! I love how it looks like they have big eyelashes on their huge eyes.
