well I finally found it on bugguide.net but it just says it's a jumping spider. Doesn't give a specific name.

Its a jumping spider (Salticidae). I haven't studied much on the Salticidaes of North America but I'll certainly try to help with the ID if I can come up with anything.. Gr8 catch!!
