Habitat:

Agricultural lowlands just east of Portoviejo, Ecuador.

Notes:

These were quite common in this subsistence farming area. Lots of living and dead ones around.

Nice locust, but they are hated in Manabi, they are agricultural plage

Thanks! I think Brown Locust is South Africa. I have decided on South American Locust, Shistocerca cancellata, but am not positive.
