Swan's neck

Agave attenuata

Description:

Blueish-grey-green leaves, smooth all over, unlike most other agaves. Bears long, curved flowers in summer, that resemble a swan's neck or monkey tails, hence its common name. Main plant dies after flowering, but young grow from base of plant.
