Congratulations Zlatan, this great series of environmental shots is our Spotting of the Day:

"Spotting of the Day! This beautifully composed image does a great job of showing the tall, open grassland habitat that is home to the Northern Red Bishop (Euplectes franciscanus). This weaver in the family Ploceidae is a resident of Africa south of the Sahara and north of the Equator. Grassland habitats provide the seeds and insects that this bird feeds on. Shown here is a breeding male, splendid in scarlet with a black head and black waistcoat.
Did you know? Our acronym stands for Networked organisms and habitats. This year, our photo competition has an emphasis on habitats. It is open till the end of 2018. Check it out! https://buff.ly/2zmhIp1 "
