Red-Tailed Hawk

Buteo jamaicensis

Notes:

Found this Red-Tailed Hawk in an open field feeding on some sort of bird or rodent. I was about 30-40 yards away as I watched it pluck and swallow bits of its prey- a very cool thing to see! Such incredible birds
