Description:

Groundcover with bright yellow flowers, shoots grow close to the ground and lay down roots as it grows.

Habitat:

seems to grow well on dry land and in wet and flooded areas.

It's a major invasive pest in wetlands here in Massachusetts and people are prohibited from selling and planting it. Pretty, but hard to control.

Alice they say be careful where you use it as it spreads quite easily.
