Froghopper

Cercopoidea

Description:

Spotted this tiny froghopper on my ornamental cabbage leaf. It was only about 5mm long.

Habitat:

Urban house veggie garden.

Notes:

Many species resemble leafhoppers, but can be distinguished by the possession of only a few stout spines on the hind tibia, where leafhoppers have a series of small spines. Wikipedia
