Taken at the Tulsa Zoo and Living Museum in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Notes:

Blue and Yellow Macaw (Blue and Gold Macaw) The keeper said that in the wild, average lifespan would be about 40 years old. This one, named Oscar, was about 35. She also stated that the lifespan is usually much greater for those in captivity because of less exposure to predators and diseases.
