Virginia Buttonweed

Diodia virginiana


Low growing, sprawling plant with ovate, opposite leaves and small white flowers. This is a native wildflower, but can be "weedy" per literature. The flowers are quite hairy on the inside of the petals.


Suburban yard, growing in a disturbed patch of ground near the road.
