Exactly Ashish, the turkey vulture is doing quite well, but many species in Asia have seen a drop in population of 95% in the past 10 years! They provide a great service by consuming carrion before diseases are allowed to fester.

Spotting of the Day!

"Lacking a syrinx, the vocal organ of birds, Turkey Vultures can only vocalize through grunting and hissing. Spread the word about these masters of soaring flight and help celebrate International Vulture Awareness Day!"
