Lontra canadensis
Family of River Otters playing, eating in the ocean by the sea wall. It looked like it was eating sea urchin, but not positive. I have often seen them near this location. In picture 3 the otter is caring for its fur which is really important for keeping out the cold of the north Pacific Ocean.

Hi Emily. Sorry I didn't see your question until now. Although the location of this spotting keeps saying West Vancouver, no matter what I put in for the location, it is really in Stanley Park, Vancouver, just off the sea wall near where the trail to Beaver Lake joins the sea wall just east of Lion's Gate Bridge.
What part of the sea wall did you see them near?
