The Tamil name of Bell pepper is Kudamilagai (குடைமிளகாய் - Umbrella
pepper) Kudamilagai Pakkoda is one of the delicious recipe in India

Yep, you helped me remember...they were bell peppers. Unfortunately, my husband was unaware and mowed them down by accident yesterday :( RIP.
