White-tailed deer

Odocoileus virginianus

Habitat:

Guadalupe River State Park

Notes:

Laying in my hammock in the early morning I saw cardinals come visit the picnic table, a squirrel jumping from tree to tree overhead, and this guy and his family slowly meander around camp. It was lovely.
