Western Blood-Red Lady Beetle with ants

Cycloneda polita

Description:

Spotted this spotless ladybug on my mammoth sunflower leaf. It is so tiny compared to the Asian labybugs that I usually spot. You can tell it is a Cycloneda polita by the black "eye" spots.

Habitat:

Urban flower garden.
