Hierodula patellifera, common name Giant Asian Mantis, is a species of praying mantis belonging to genus Hierodula. They are found in Hawaii, India, Japan, Java, Korea, Philippines, New Guinea, Southern China, Taiwan, and Vietnam.

The ootheca she's laying is an interesting shape.
Looks like a Tenodera rather than a Hierodula patellifera. I can't distinguish between Tenodera angustipennis or sinensis from most images.

that is a great spotting... I saw once, that she is guarding her eggs, till the oöecium (foam) gets hard, then she goes away
