Spotting

Description:

This bug was about an inch long & had caught a dranonfly that was about 2 inches long. If you look closely, you can see one dragonfly wing under the bug.

Habitat:

Pine forest on the edge of Oregon's High Desert. This thing buzzed my head, then landed on the trunk of a dead ponderosa & sat there for about 10 minutes, all the while holding onto the dragonfly.
