Arrow-shaped Micrathena

Micrathena sagittata

Description:

This was a real tiny little guy. He was red with greenish spots. His abdomen appeared to be triangular in shape.

Notes:

I had never seen a spider like this. I was visiting my in-laws in Pennsylvania. He had made his web in the bushes along the house. I apologize for not having clearer pics of him, but these two were the best for identification purposes. A very cool looking guy.
