Blue Cloud Forest Millipede

Pararhachistes potosinus

Description:

Blue Cloud Forest Millipede. This beautiful millipede is fairly common in the cloud forests of northern Mexico. This is a flattened millipede rather than the cylindrical ones that are often encountered. It went into hiding when I was taking the photo.

Habitat:

Cloud forest at 2300 m asl. In Oak forest.

Notes:

It is my spotting 4,100.
