Description:

Red elytra punctuated with three black spots each, with one further spot being spread over the junction of the two, making a total of seven spots, black pronotum with two white marks at sides. About 7mm total large.

Habitat:

Spotted in a mediterranean pine forest, near Barcelona (Rubi area), the seven-spot ladybird is the most common ladybird in Europe.
