Spotting

Description:

Orange and white/grey spots on the entire boulder. The spots are some kind of Lichen? I would see this every now and then on the edge of this boulder strewn stream.

Habitat:

Adirondack State Park, NY Wet, moist rock along streams. I would see this (what's pictured) every now and then on the edge of this boulder strewn stream.

Notes:

I don't know if the colors are different things?? I'm almost positive the bright orange of the boulder isn't the actual color of the rock...
