Description:

A black(ish) snake with lighter colored stripe down sides No hissing, not shy at all... just stood still as I took his picture.

Habitat:

High Peaks Region of Adirondack State Park. I found this guy at Marcy Dam (as you can see by the large weathered timbers in the pictures. But it's out in the wilderness)
