Ashish Kodaikanal is a hill city . Its has a variety of flora and fauna The temperatures are cool throughout the year.Modern Kodaikanal was established by American Christian missionaries and British bureaucrats in 1845.It is one of the major tourist attraction city. many gardens and research centers are presented here. So there is no surprise of foreign flowers .. This one is spotted in a cottoge garden

Uhhh... its in Melanthiaceae family... Apart from Liliaceae.. These mostly locate from Americas..!!
Is this in Garden as ornamental plant...?
