Southern California, Mojave Desert near Joshua Tree National Park.
Photographed during an early morning walk near my home. She was apparently hiding in the rocks, stalking a rabbit which jumped out in front of me. Since her hunt was spoiled anyway I stopped to take a few photos. We see bobcats frequently at our home they are often wandering around during the daylight hours.
