American Black Bear

Ursus americanus

Description:

A big, lone bear walking along the rocks at the edge of the passage. It occasionally would walk a little bit in the water not seeming to mind the cold whatsoever, despite there being room to walk on the rocks above the water. It seemed like it was looking for something to eat in the water or very close to the water.

Habitat:

On the barnacle-covered rocks in the Narrow Passage.
