Spotting

Description:

Shortish tree (about 3'), very possibly young, with clusters of about 8 leaves at the tips of branches. Leaves had blunt tips and one central vein, and were bright green but with variable patterns of tiny lighter dots.

Habitat:

In Yosemite Valley, near Tenaya Creek. Growing in the shade of some pine trees.
