Spanish Snail

Description:

Snail had a few white lines running the course of its shell.

Habitat:

It was found a dry stem of a weed in an empty lot next to a reservoir.

Notes:

There were dozens of these snails on the stems of dead plants just like this. I have no clue what they are doing.
