The butterfly is more anonymous and camouflaged when its wings are closed. It is something completely different when the wings are opened https://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/43.... The wings are duller underneath and the ocelli are small. The stripe on the hindwing is outlined by a broad pale band on the inner edge.

Habitat:

Overgrown abandoned area.
