Malva
I spotted this beautiful pink flower in Aquatic Park, Berkeley, CA. It looks like a hybrid between a plumeria and hibiscus blossom. The seed pods look similar to morning glory seed pods. Any help with an ID would be great.

I'll have to put the UC Berkley gardens on my list for my next visit. Thanks for posting this. I photographed a similar flower (haven't posted yet) in the San Diego Botanic Gardens, Encintias, CA.
I'm not sure but this could be a species of Malva.

There is just so much to see in San Fransisco and Vicinity. It is just amazing.
This will be my first visit. i am going there mainly for the frogs and newts.looking forward to it.
