Ants

Notes:

I disturbed an ant hill and uncovered a few eggs. Ants came pouring out of the mound and began to gather up the eggs. What caught my eye was the light tan ant that came out of the mound. Anyone have any ideas on what the ant was? Male, female, worker or what?
