Red-vented Bulbul

Description:

Medium sized bird. Red vent, which gives them their name. Small crest that is sometimes raised. Feathers give a scaly appearance.

Habitat:

My rooftop terrace. they love the fruits I put out. Sometimes I have up to half a dozen of these...usually only maybe a pair. Pretty territorial they chase away other birds and even sometimes their own young.
