Saw this beautiful creature on a tree along many others, I put my hand next to it and look!!!! I have no idea of what type of butterfly this one is, I just love the way it looks...I hope I can learn a lot about nature through this site!
Beautiful butterfly. I live in the Victoria area, too so I'm hoping to see one someday. We still have a large patch of red wildflowers out back... may have to do some butterfly watching today. :)
It's no problem, glad to help. Just go to 'edit this spotting about your name and profile pic in the spotting. There you can add the common name above the photo and latin name below the photo. If you have questions about anything just let me or another ranger know. Welcome to Project Noah.
@ dandoucette...please excuse my ignorance and tell me how to do an update and I will take care of it right away.
That's interesting they feed on sap. It would be great if you could update this spotting and your other spottings with the correct common and latin names so they no longer remain an unknown spotting. Thanks.
