Description:

It looks like wavy yellow fingers reaching out of the leaf litter. A brilliant golden yellow with reddish-orange tips. Most are between 2 and 4 inches long.

Habitat:

In the leaf litter in a mixed stand of hardwoods and softwoods. On a slope above a small stream.
