It is very true. And what concerns me is there are species that have yet to be studies or even discovered and they are being lost at an alarming rate due to the destruction of our planet. Secrets that support our very existence!
Some people have expressed to me that this is all part of evolution and not to worry so much, but how can I not; there is irreversible damage being done! This sentiment always leaves me with a sinking feeling, and thought, that if this is considered evolution then what will we, as humans, be evolving into?
