Johnson Jumping Spider

Phidippus johnsoni

Description:

Spotted this Johnson Jumping Spider on the recycle bin in my back yard. I actually saw it jump about 4 inches from one bin to another. Now I know why they are called jumping spiders.

Habitat:

Urban house back yard.

Nice series, and a really cute spider. I think I like the second photo best. :)
