Spotting

Description:

I'm sure this is a beetle. It is pinkish in colour with electric blue linings. A little bit of brown on its back. A large set of eyes and a proboscis like mouth(?) I didn't dare touch it.

Notes:

Help me identify it. Actually, this is the first time I have seen this creature.

It's a weevil - a kind of beetle, probably in the family Curculionidae. Very small mouthparts, harmless to humans. They eat seeds mostly.
