Description:

very large ...began the day 03, pinkish in coloring, and not as big, the next day 04, they were very white with little brownish 'speckles' on the caps and textured. and aprx. 5 to 6 inches tall the heads had opened a lot more..very substantial composition.

Habitat:

open lawn, rural

Notes:

i was not able to follow their progress further because they were growing in my lawn and the mowing service cut them down.

very nice specimen. where they smelly (Odor: unpleasant tingling, metallic)! when they where : lepiota cristata. (from the look. these are specimen for a mushroom-gids) . if not : then i could be macrolepiota rachodes ( but i will tend to suggest : lepiota !! )
