Will let a UK birder ID this one then. The Long-eared Owl is 31 - 37 cm tall.

This owl was pretty small, at least compared to other owls that I have personally seen.

Okay! Just wondering if it might be a Long-eared Owl. Thanks for sharing these owl photos! I love owls.

It is a rehab bird, it was injured in the wild and in the care of a local. And I don't have any pictures with its' eyes open.

I am wondering how tall this owl was and if it was in the wild? Do you have another picture showing the eye colour? Were the eyes orange?
