Hi everyone... Sorry to leave you hanging... Yeah it was totally bizarre! They didn't do much, just stayed like that for ages on the driveway. It did look like a cane toad and quite possible because it was in Agnus Waters, Queensland.

That is so cool (and creepy) but at least some things will eat the invasive cane toad! Go centipede!

OK, I called it a 'frog' but I have been corrected by my hubby... it's actually a Cane Toad (Bufo marinus is the scientific name - you can enter it into the 'scientific name' field by clicking 'Edit this spotting'). This is amazing. I feel like you should send it to the CSIRO or the Department of Environment or something... a natural cane toad predator!!!!!

That is absolutely bizarre - I've never seen anything like it. How big was the frog? Did you watch and see what happened?
