Blue butterfly caterpillar

Lycaenidae

Description:

White larva, about 4cm long and 1 cm thick.

Habitat:

Within an ant's nest, under a log in a grassy meadow

Notes:

Could someone identify this species? My thought was that it was a larvae of another insect (perhaps a butterfly) that was parasitising the ants nest and tricking them into taking care of it.
