mouse or rat-hole (occupied by a frog!!)

rana esculenta

Description:

rodent-hole (now rana esculenta hole)

Notes:

from my previous spotting from hole. i first would say it occupied from a rat. But when i was home and looked at the pictures (quality-control) i saw something on the first picture wich doesn't ressemble a mouse or rat or even a "rodent". on the first picture i get the impression that i see an crab/scorpion-claw. maybe crabs live here but no scorpions. it was 2-3 meter from a lttle river in a leave forrest. therefore i'm really stunned by the one picture, but most likely that it just looked like a artropod-claw and is just a leave.

crab or lobster? Do not disregard as leaf!!

I think it looks more like two legs of a frog or toad, too close together for a lizard. All three use any hole they can find to shelter but don't make their own afaik.
