i suspect, that are the spore wich grow to early. when you want to see a mushroom on a mushroom. --> http://www.google.com/search?pq=google&a... ) i find him relativ beautiful and have found him once (2-3 year back, but couldn't make a recognizable picture, BUT i know where to look)

Is that a separate fuzzy fungus growing on the ground and mushrooms?

it has a stem, it could also (again) be an marasmiellus or marasmius. one of these genus. Species will dont suggest, because i can not see the cap from above.

It's ok! This was the most fantastic mushroom trip. The funny thing is that we went to photograph fall color and waterfalls and I ended up with a dozen or so mushroom photos
