Undescribed Phasmid

Description:

Apparently this specimen is part of a new genus/species which is currently in the process of being described. Phasmid of about 8cm body length, uniformly green with a thin pale band on either side of its body, running from the eye to the tip of the abdomen. Abdomen is slightly broader then the rest of the body.

Habitat:

Rainforest in the Amazon region of Ecuador, near Tena.
