Southern Black Racer

Coluber constrictor priapus


A fast snake that is light grey to black in color, and in some species it has a light blue-ish tint to it's skin. This snake sits with it's head held high above the grass so that it may locate prey and predators.


This snake lives in Florida's scrub and grassland
