Description:

This heron had a beautiful design in pink and grey on it's back. The Goliath heron (Ardea goliath), also known as the giant heron, is a very large wading bird of the heron family Ardeidae. It is the world's largest heron.

Habitat:

Seen during a boat trip up the Nile River towards the Murchison Waterfalls.
