Ardea goliath
This heron had a beautiful design in pink and grey on it's back. The Goliath heron (Ardea goliath), also known as the giant heron, is a very large wading bird of the heron family Ardeidae. It is the world's largest heron.
Seen during a boat trip up the Nile River towards the Murchison Waterfalls.
thanks Wild Things for the ID... Do you think this one is the same? It doesn't have the back markings, but it has the pink neck.
