Green-faced Clubtail

Gomphus viridifrons

Description:

Large, yellow and black, red eyes.

Habitat:

Forest, near a river.

Notes:

Probably a young male. I was lucky to get these shots, the dragonfly was sitting on a plant and was quite docile. It wasn't spooked very easily, which is always great. Found at the Barbara A. Beiser Field Station.
